// Boundless mobility means boundless ability

A wheelchair that climbs stairs, oversteps obstacles, and loads itself into an ordinary minivan.

Argonault is developing the StepRover — a patented, multi-functional mobility platform for people with complex mobility needs. It is not a conventional powered wheelchair, but a new form of assisted human mobility. A full-scale, fully operational prototype has been built and is available for demonstration.

What the platform does

One unified engineering platform, protected by national and international intellectual property rights, performs the work of several purpose-built assistive devices — often more effectively.

Terrain
Autonomous climbing and descending across different surface levels, including stairs and curbs, plus overstepping obstacles.
Vehicles
Independent loading into standard, non-converted minivans — no ramps, no lifts, no costly vehicle modifications. The user boards and disembarks unassisted.
Posture
Transports the user in any posture, from seated upright to fully recumbent, and can transition between positions — including fully horizontal — inside the vehicle.
Independence
Unassisted transfer to and from bed and toilet, without mechanical lifts or a caregiver's physical assistance.
Stability
Lowers its centre of gravity for stable movement at higher speeds and on inclined surfaces.
Product family
The same platform underpins a power wheelchair, high-performance scooter, automated stretcher, powered ambulance cot, and skid-loader — one core technology, many products.

Engineers & manufacturers wanted

The technology works — fully functional StepRover prototypes exist today. What we're looking for now are the people who can take it from prototype to product:

  • Manufacturers capable of developing and mass-producing the platform
  • Mechanical and mechatronics engineers to refine the design
  • Industrial designers and rehab-technology specialists

Production is manufacture-friendly for conventional metal fabrication shops — no exotic tooling required to get started.

Investment opportunity

Argonault is seeking investors interested in commercializing a patented assistive-mobility platform with a large, steadily growing market:

  • Proven, demonstrable full-scale prototype — available for live demos
  • Protected by national and international IP rights
  • Millions of power-wheelchair users across the US, Canada, and EU, growing ~3% annually
  • One platform, multiple product lines and market segments
